Email Questions : I welcome questions about information on this website. I try to answer many email questions each week about information on this website provided that I can adequately respond in a short email reply. Keep your questions brief and to the point. My reply to  your email question is meant to be an initial impression pointing you in the right direction. My reply to an email question is not a complete answer nor legal advice.

Please understand that I receive email questions every day. Just because I offer free legal information on this website does not mean I feel obligated to answer every question I receive from every reader. If I do not respond to your question it may be that I don't know the answer without research, or I am busy working for clients, or I'm watching the game. Please don't take offense personally.

Now, this is important. I do not provide specific legal advice to people who are not clients. Unless you have paid me legal fees you are not my client. If you are not my client, anything you tell me in an email is not protected by attorney-client privilege. Also, until you are my client I am not going to suggest in my email reply what you should do or should not do in your particular situation. Please don't ask me for legal advice.

People seeking my legal advice about their particular situations should contact my office by phone to possibly make an appointment. I do not set appointment times via email exchanges. I explain below my policies regarding my bankruptcy and asset protection legal services.

Bankruptcy: I provide free initial bankruptcy consultations over the phone. The purpose of the initial bankruptcy consultation is to determine whether or not bankruptcy will help you, whether you are eligible to file either Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy, and to discuss initially legal fees and general bankruptcy rules and procedures. I file bankruptcy only in the Orlando Division serving central Florida which includes Tampa and Jacksonville. If you send me a bankruptcy question by email please identify where you reside.

Asset Protection: This website contains much information about Florida asset protection law which information I have made available without charge to the general public. I provide additional asset protection answers and advice to clients for a fee either in my office or by telephone meetings at scheduled appointments. During asset protection meetings I will explain which of your personal and business assets are currently protected from creditors, which assets are not protected, and I will suggest ways to better protect those assets not currently protected. Legal work, if any, involved in the implementation of your asset protection plan is billed separately.

Please call my office at 407-444-0404 if you want to schedule an in-office appointment or phone meeting to answer asset protection questions or to get asset protection advice about your personal or business situation. I do not schedule appointments or phone consultations by email.

Disclaimer: If you send me an email question and you are not a client (see above) your email will not create an attorney-client relationship and neither your email nor my reply will privileged or confidential communication. The information on this website is not all you need to know about the subject matter. If you think you can rely on this website information to figure out answers to your personal legal problems and issues you are making a big mistake. Use common sense- if you have a legal question or problem, hire an attorney.
